Theyre so used to not being challenged and getting a hug after everything that they cant handle being left alone for even a minute.

A lot of them haven't "lost" a real election. 2010 and 2014 don't count because turnout.

Some of the ones who took 2014 hard as every single Senate race was going for the R's don't seem to be going silly over the mere fact that someone is daring to challenge Hillary.

My dumb thesis is that until you've lost an election you were really into, you haven't truly come of age politically. I think after that people tend not to take it so seriously. (Or they go even more insane and become "warbloggers" or whatever the modern equivalent is.)

My first election was 2004.  It felt like the end of everything when Kerry lost.  Although I voted in 2006,I was apathetic for years.   During the run up to 2008 a part of me wondered why the Democrats were even bothering since the damage was already done, haha.   I was dumb.

Why the fuck would you call the police for this?  When my daughter was young, I think around 6 she got shit faced at a resort in Mexico.  It was so funny she did the entire cycle of drunk in like 30 minutes.  She lit up became totally party girl, dancing like nuts, then started to not feel good, puked, fell asleep woke up 15 minutes later had a hangover for like 5 minutes.  It was amazing how her pure healthy body and liver just cranked through so fast.  We clued in when she puked out of the blue, fuck it was comedy gold.

Path of Exile's skill-tree system still blows my mind. I seriously have no clue what direction to go in given you can cross-class skills at the cost of heavy investment points. But even then the whole skill system and all that is just so radically different from most skill-tree ARPG systems that it's hard to understand in a way.

It shrinks tremendously once you've done it a couple times. There are some paths you just don't take because the nodes are shit, some nodes you take because of course you would, etc. Getting to that point can be a barefoot treck across gravel, but it's not too bad on softcore, because you don't really lose anything. I don't think it's as dramatic as it seems, but that might just be my 3k hours talking...

Eeeh, my wife was not down with the idea of a bachelor party (are any fiancees ever?) and I didn't particularly want one so me and some bros went to a arcade-y place and then to Hooters for fuds after. Close enough. Before the network happened we'd convene at said restaurant for WWE PPVs on occasion. I was always stunned to see people bringing their kids there. Sure, it's not exactly adults only but it still ain't a place to bring your kids, but I suppose that'd be the WWE audience for you.

It's a big disappointment compared to the first game in every way but world size and soundtrack (fuck the haters, X's soundtrack is a breath of fresh air, sorry that it's not another generic classical music + buttrock soundtrack like most RPGs nowadays).
