OA was the anti-GAF board for a while. I consider OA to be officially dead after Saint Cornelius and enjoy bell woods were in their own subforum. Instead of naturally generated lulz, they forced it.
Evilbore was more of a replica of GAF from 2002-2006 aka when GAF was good. The Bore in 2016 is more of a Coli ripoff than old school GAF so this no longer applies.
WYL was the shittiest members of GAF trying to form their own community. Little shock there as to why it failed.

With GAF it's hard to tell who is who. 90% of the board are outrage trolls who either flit from one thread to another to express how angry and pissed they are about something or post wide eyed fawning praise over a Nintendo or Sony game. You click on some of these names and they have 15,000 posts but you can't remember a single thing they've actually posted before. Fortunately their avatars are sufficient enough to see what posts are worth glancing at and which ones you can scroll on by.
I also 100% earnestly believe that there is at least one NeoGAF oriented child porn ring. Mods and admins do jack shit to clamp down on the pedo shit so it's likely the forum pedos know and collaborate with each other.
