I agree with the content of the article. A black dude "behaving erratically" in the park is much more likely to have the cops called on them for no damn reason, especially at night. And statistically speaking, that encounter with the police is much more likely to be violent than if he was white.

I'm interested in Dice Clay as I am with controversial people in general for whatever reason. Decided to finally watch his stand up and jesus was it terrible. Not in an offensive way, you can say anything if it's comedic in my view. But dude had like no jokes that could make me laugh. I'm not a fan of targeted ads. Im part of the AnimeGAF community but it doesn't mean I want everyone around me knowing it. Getting constant "Anime girl in revealing/provocative outfit/position" ads, even on topics that have nothing to do with it, is getting annoying. I'd rather opt out of targeted and go with generic ones if it means not having this happen anymore.
When it comes to comedy, sometimes you have to take it in the context of the time period they were popular. Most people in the late 80s were coked up and NYC was a crime ridden shithole so the average New Yorker saw shit talking "street tough" Italians (although Dice Clay was a Jew, he is clearly imitating Italians) all over the place. Doesn't make much sense in 2016 but in 1987, it made perfect sense.
