Attrition made MSU actually play some of the guys they should have been giving time and touches to earlier in the year like Scott, who was pretty decent when he had to play earlier. O'Connor even seemed like a better on the fly decision maker than Cook though it was just one game.
Dat play on like 3rd and 2 where the entire team basically just shoved OSU's line back and him across the first down line.

On the replay you could see one of the backs squeezing inbetween MSU linemen to get behind O'Connor and push him forward farther.

Haven't watched MSU games regularly in years before this season, but Dantonio can get pretty nuts in a good way, like going for it on 4th and 20 or putting two QBs on the field and running it. An OSU looked completely confused at what the hell MSU was doing sometimes. Then the crazy shit works out in a lot of these games. Shame they had to blow that Nebraska game and won't be able to get crazy in the tournament against some actually good teams.
