I'm surprised Bridget is the most popular GG character in NA, but not Japan.

Also surprised slightly that like 55% of Strive players are 18-25 years old and that only 4% of Strive players are old enough to have been around when GGX came out. I still remember playing GGX and Cliff and Judgment. I am also an OLD MAN

Tbf though, that does make some sense in that Guilty Gear up until Strive has been a very fast reflex high technical series and us oldies respond slower and can't keep up.

I found out I can play Tekken Tag Tournament 2 online via RCPS3 on PC...

I fought someone last night.. but the amount of players seems to be absolutely 0

Tekken 8 demo is up on PS5.

23.71GB - Playable characters in the demo are Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina. Featured stages include Urban Square (Evening), Yakushima, and Sanctum.

The Tekken 8 demo is now out on Xbox and PC.  Also to note because you can use FSR or DLSS, it runs at 60 FPS at pretty high detail even on devices like the Steam Deck.

The PC demo has also already been hacked with practice mode made playable and more characters selectable.  You get Xiaoyu, Azucena, Shaheen, Law, Panda, Asuka, Feng, Lili, Jun, Jack, King, Steve, Jin, Nina, Kazuya, and Paul.

Why do all the male characters have the exact same bodytype? Law / Paul Phoenix / Steve shouldn't be roided out monsters out here looking like the Gears of War squadron and have the exact same bodytype as say King or Dragunov.



Why is there no Team battle, Survival, Time attack modes? Besides the story and arcade quest, there is super Ghost mode but thats it? Noone is gonna play Tekken Ball mode for a lot.

No infinite rematch on quickmatch.

Customization is worse than T7

The overrealiance on Heat/Rage is annoying to me. Thats not what Tekken was ever about, specials and ultra's, that's more Street Fighters thing.

The graphics and gameplay are good, but I never had an issue with any of that in previous Tekken games.

Thats fine. I never had an issue with gameplay in Tekken. Its never bad.

The rest of my complaints stand. Characters look stupid af. All roided out looking like the Gears of War squad. Law shouldnt look like King ( a wrestler ).

Modes scrapped from classic Tekken to never return is SMH. And everyone on Reddit is like, its fine we got online! Who cares about Team battle

They look good in-game to me.  Got no complaints on the graphics.  I do agree that more variety in body types would have been better.

No, nobody gives a shit. 


It's possible more modes will be added.  You can put me on the "no1curr" list though because I'm just there to play it online as I suspect the vast majority of people who get this game are doing.  For offline, ghost battle and practice are all I need.

They've also confirmed it will have rollback netcode and cross-play
