I don't even eat breakfast. One meal in the late afternoon then maybe one later at night if I'm going to go out.

Also, I live by myself and wake up at 4 am in the morning so I can get away this kind of behaviour.

If you're married/live with your SO they might not appreciate the fish smell.

I once ordered sardines and eggs for breakfast from a cool restaurant near me, figured they would fry em off w a little lemon and chives and have the poached eggs on top or something. Like eggs Montreal. Nope, just a can of sardines half opened next to some sourdough and eggs

I figured it's better to spend my money on quality/healthy fish meat than on Jack in the Box loaded breakfast sandwiches.

Sardines are really good for you and the protein and fat is a good way to start your day if you feel like you need to eat breakfast. You’re on the right track.
