Trump just shot himself in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about presidential appointee culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in business where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in American politics, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the American public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to support Trump as President, nor will they support any of Trump's agenda. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Trump has alienated an entire market with this move.

Trump, publicly apologize and rehire Preheet Barkara to her job or you can kiss your political career goodbye.

This thread doesn't make a lot of sense anymore, though, since the ad team is looking into these reports but they aren't here on the forum proper to respond in the thread. I'll set up an email address where manual reports can be sent that will also be monitored actively by the ad team, and they'll be able to respond to reports directly that way.

Yeah I guess hopefully their accounts can be activated soon :teehee

People got really mad that Jim Sterling lowered the metacritic from 98 to a lowly 97.

Some people on GAF were raging and some nerds are DDoSing his site.

I love Zelda games, but the obsessive rage from the hardcore Zelda community is always a sight to see.

 (Image removed from quote.)

Yea its something alright.

Also its hilarious that some folk were 100% anticipating the Sony fanboys to freak the fuck out but its actually the Nintendo fans who are doing it

I don't really care if you like Trump or not. My commentary was about the inevitable "Oh, I think both sides are terrible" shit we always see in threads like this.

Its amazing how many ways people normalize this Trump Administration with some shitty form of 'both sides'

It's sad how gaffers think labeling any action involving more than 1 agent a "Both sides fallacy" is an auto-matic win  Just because you find two groups to be dumb doesn't automatically make you some morally ambivalent coward and the next Neville Chamberlain. SAD!

How about come up with a reason to support one side instead of pre-labeling everyone of "both siderism"

That was quite a scene.  I never thought of Jon Tron as anything but another of the 25 video game commentators on Y T.   But holy crap.  I have no issue with calling him a full on racist, dumb fuck, ass-wipe piece of shit.

Look some posts upwards and you can see I hate ass-wipes quick to label others as racist.  But after listening to that discussion it's clear was a dim witted, short minded, dumb fuck, shit heel, ass faced dip-shit Jon tron is.

Never really followed JonTron or Gamer Grumps, though I've known about them. Seems to me he was just another one of those "goofy" gaming YouTubers. Why he thinks going completely "alt-right/racist" is a wise career move baffles. Maybe he doesn't care and and is in an "I don't give no fucks" mode and just exposing who he really is.

In any case, most YouTubers are dumb as dirt. Expecting anything more than time wasting entertainment from them is foolish.

I bet it has more to do with having a mental meltdown than consciously trying to get alt right money. Thought it doesn't matter, as that is the only audience he is going to get anymore.

I was never a fan, but it must suck to be a non-white or non-USA fan of Jontron right now.

Yes, I see this mentality everywhere. My parents are very anti-immigration with Canada taking in so many Syrians. Yet, they fled their homeland as teenagers to live a normal life. Somehow, every immigrant thinks there was a cutoff right after them and their friends landed.
My mother is the same way. Somehow all the rethoric doesn't apply to her. :beli

During the first immigration ban attempt the local news in LA went out to Riverside and interviewed a guy who emigrated from Iran to the states in the 70s.  On a golf course.  Dude was full on this guy :success going on about how he converted to Christanity and how "those people" won't fit in in America.  It was sad and funny to see someone go full Clayton Bigsby on live TV.  Especially because the people who wrote that ban don't think he's any more of an American than the ones in the airports and they'd revoke his citizenship and throw him on the next truck out of the country if they could figure out a way to do it.  And there's still plenty of time for them to work on that.  And if that DOES happen, I don't know how much sympathy I'll have for him.
