Again, as I have said before I basically agree with EviLore's stance but his moderation team isn't moderating the forum like that and haven't been for a long while now.

I don't know if EviLore isn't bothering to check who is being banned and why but:

1. People are being banned just because some mods disagrees with them - even when the poster is being perfectly civil.

2. The good long-time posters who made the forum a joy to read have to a large degree been purged over the last few years and NeoGAF is much poorer for it. What has been the point of that?

Regardless of what the big man says, civility isn't factored into his choices. If he decides he doesn't like you then that's that. No matter how correct or nice you are.

And like someone else said, he does this at least once or twice a year, shows up, makes some post about what he thinks his forums are all about (which they haven't been about or have never been about) and then disappears to his surreal life for a few months.

Some of you that have GAF accounts should lure a couple of people over, while not being the most prolific poster myself, I feel the bore is like 20 or so active posters away from being fully self sustaining. Hopefully Euro posters cause I never have anyone to talk with when you guys go to sleep 

Please, a lot of the very best posters left over the past two years. Th bore was at it's best from like 2012-14 for me. Too many left over dumb shit or just not liking where the forum is headed from the new influx of posters. Some new posters are cool, but overall forum is worse off than it was a bit ago.

There's still cool posters around and every now and again we get a cool thread or discussion going. But overall most of you newbies suck.

The Order: 1886 is a third person shooter, heavily cinematic, and as such, most of the time you spend playing this game will be shooting at things. There are moments where you can take a breather, and do a little "exploring", but these tend to be more in the Uncharted vein than anything else. The core of the gameplay is in the shooting.

Most of the time in the game is spent fighting, but RAD did a good job of pacing the campaign well. I think this is very important, and it's going to be one of the significant aspects as to whether you really like this game or not. How well that clicks for you. There is a good mix of raising the tension, stealth moments, chaos, and some more varied encounters thanks to the unnatural enemies, and situations you're placed in. It's a story focused game, and there are some nice creepy moments that really add to the vibe of the setting. The story itself is somewhat simple, and I think is executed well considering the campaign execution.
