A year or two in jail might have calmed her down, got her off the drugs, re-focused her life and allowed her to be the intelligent and productive individual I'm sure she is capable of anyway. The outcome of jail is not always a lifetime of pain, despite added difficulties. So that's not necessarily the best argument against her receiving some time in this case.

Plus, he's only getting charged with corruption of a minor with brings 9-16 months or something. And he wouldn't even have to register as a sex offender.

Personally, I found that like most GAFfers his common bigotry including some casual racism was just smeared ever so that it looked "on the right side of history" from the point of view of the triumphant present.

GAF in 2007 wasn't the place it is in 2017 in terms of just acceptable non-politically-charged "humor" even on the gaming side. (Or even more so stuff like TrannySurprise joke tabs in screenshots.) Really, the main reason I created this thread was because I think there needs to be some real distinctions between when you accuse someone of child pornography/pedophilia, because that sort of stigma sticks with you for-fucking-ever. And I don't think taking pictures of your 17 year old girlfriend is exactly equivalent to the weight the word brings along. I'm biased, 'cause it's my brother. And sure, I guess there's a SHRED of "head shaking" going on here, but I think the line has got to be drawn in some gradiants or some shit.
