Somebody earlier was trying to draft a better statement for Evilore and the funny thing is, it's the simplest kind of one of all, just shit on Amir0x (an accused child porn trafficker) and apologize based on a sound policy even if that doesn't exist and promise to do better even if you don't intend on it. Everyone else will go along, just look at that pathetic Paris Agreement thread.
"We all knew Amir0x and many of us often enjoyed his posting on topics here despite his known personal troubles but it's beyond abhorrent to find out just how far he has gone. He is no longer welcome here even if law allows him back on the internet.
As to the earlier threads that were deleted, a moderator acted a bit hasty per policy to avoid "attack on member" threads and such drama, but now that this is all cleared up I apologize and take responsibility for that and want to make clear that any behavior of the type Amir0x has admitted to is far beyond a simple ToS violation and hopefully no further members of any status will let us down with similar disgusting behavior. That is not welcome here, never has been and on behalf of the staff and hopefully the community we will continue to condemn it as much as we can.
Regarding starting threads "about members" though, in general, we do wish to work through PMs and the moderation process for obvious reasons. We understand why in this case people wanted to know more considering Amir0x's former status within the community but I will recommend that threads merely be locked until the staff can confer as to further action in the future so as to prevent confusion.
