You're right. I think the effort I'm trying to make here is to present a distinction between a real life racist and those who use words because they are offensive. They're two different issues even though they both are issues. Once you label someone a racist, they're never not racist. It's permanent. There's rarely a path to non-racism unless you're Mel Gibson. So it's better to actually get it right instead of what seems to be a thing now, which is pile on.
