Ran across the band Hop Along the other day. Really jives with the kind of grunge pop I grew up liking on Sega Saturn mix cds.

The way she nails the "Meteor...make me young" lines at the end is so good. There's a couple other great tracks on this album too. Been listening to it for a couple days now.

Just got back from seeing a special Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution show where they had a 40 piece full orchestra and pianist playing this in an old 1920s LA theater:
