Apparently their new record doesn't come close to the original stint for this band. I was shocked to even learn they made a new record.

Everything Mark has done since they booted Tom out of Blink -182 has been a huge #GiantDad moment. After hearing the newest Blink single "Darkside" (maybe it had a slightly different title) I have no hope for this band. He just got old and boring I guess. Guy clearly had it in him to push himself and try something back with +44. But on top of that look at the producer of this upcoming Blink record and the same one on California. I have no hope. Aliens exist. Tom, you didn't have to go that overboard though. Plus that newest AVA single was very average. Though I have more hope there since Tom is driven and his drummer there is damn clever beyond just manning the drum kit.

I’m surprised by how much I don’t hate this song. Usually Taylor Swift is trash pop but I really enjoyed this. Could have it playing in the background while I’m doing work or something.

John Frusciante said he was working on new music (but I guess it's more electronica $:-\$ ). Decided to listen to some of his old RHCP work. This was a b-side. Not sure if it was technically released. You can clearly hear this is pre super compressed mixing that the Californication album got.

It's as if someone fell in love with Burial and wanted to continue their early sound and expand upon it. It's a little more open and uplifting than Burial but still bass heavy and contemplative. New favorite artist.

Stumbled across this a few weeks ago, reminiscent of dubby Euro techno from the late 90s/00s (Pole, basic channel, Pansonic etc) with a more stripped down palette of bass, drum, synth, and static, with a modern production sensibility.

It’s grown on me over the month, i fuzz out at work to this on the reg. Much to the dismay of my employees
