I'll see what direction the Switch goes. Now that this is supposed to be a singular platform, this should mean that we get more games and faster since Nintendo is now focused entirely on this one platform. Mario Odyssey will probably be a big factor. If that game is in the Galaxy vein then I'm probably going to buy sooner or later; if it is in the 3D Land/3D World vein then I'll pass. I fear Odyssey will actually be in the Sunshine vein which is a big hell no to me.

iirc, GAF had an OT for Super Mario World when it hit the Wii U virtual console. They treated it like it was a huge event. Now looks like we're going to see that for a lot more games now

Didn't realize this was coming out this weekend. Thought it was next week or something, but just got notification that my Zelda Switch shipped from Amazon. Hope the system ships from Amazon this weekend as well.
Was looking into getting the Pro controller because of all these articles talking about joycon disconnects, but the Pro controller seems sold out everywhere. Will keep an eye out and see if it becomes available post-launch.

Not planning on getting anything other than Zelda until Mario/XB2 come out in the fall/winter. Not even sure if I'll play Zelda anytime soon since Nier 2 is amazing and apparently Horizon is very good. But will at least check it out if I get a system next week.

eShop confirmed to be fully-region free! You can access other region eShops and download and play games/DLC on another region account. You can apparently even use U.S. credit cards on other regions (this works with Visa on the J-eShop on 3DS) and it will not only work fine, but even display the prices in dollars. THAT is awesome.

Gonna download Puyo Puyo Tetris, Blaster Master, and Dragon Quest Heroes tomorrow!
