I didn't vote. Thought about voting Johnson and trying to repeal the Death Penalty in Cali, but I have a hard time believing my vote matters much. I'm more effective speaking to people and changing votes. Hell, being in Cali my vote didn't matter much since it was going to be Hillary's state either way. The only thing that gives me pause to my perspective is the stuff like propositions. California is incredibly whack when it comes to voting on policy. No real logic to what they vote in besides a large helping of virtue signaling.

sigh

Just shut the fuck up. I don't know, my interactions with you from years ago are nice enough but you're being an idiot right now. Try to do just a tiny bit more action than talking in life I say.

I'm talking because people are acting confused and I understood all the factors leading to this happening. You can call me an idiot, but that's the same lazy response I got when I pointed out post-irony and other elements. So if you need understanding, it's obvious I got the hookup.

Voting has really nothing to do with it. Stop the butthurt and start the questions.

I'm still not really sure what the hell GamerGate is.  Something to do with a convention or something?  I don't know.  I'll just keep playing vidya games.

We are growing less and less confused as the days go by and nothing you've said in this thread has offered one morsel of information.

Because understanding GG required understanding issues with the media, backlash against social justice crap, and post-irony. Those three elements fed into Trump's win. If you understood at that time how empty racism and sexism accusations are then people would see the Trump stuff wouldn't have mattered as much. Not because there isn't real issue with that or no real racists, but because the accusations lost their strength via misuse. Victim culture and Trolling feed off of each other, because both mock or attack sincerity. I have to wonder how many people voted Trump while believing he was not sincere about various things, but that he also wasn't BSing them. That weird double belief exists via post-irony are because of the things post-irony does to sincerity.

After Tuesday I was telling myself that the worst narrative we'd tell ourselves about Trump's win was that an election decided by a few hundred thousand rural white voters had anything to do with Internet fuckery, outrage over gendered pronouns, and/or the debate about sexualized violence in video games. I was expecting this narrative would only develop after our memory had faded a bit, and yet here we are...

If you think I've lost my shit then you're part of the problem. Though its Ruzbeh, so maybe I shouldn't put any value in that statement. However, people calling me racist in here when they know I'm not is part of the problem as well.

With Zoe Quinn being the spark to light the fuse. Slept with Nathan Grayson to secure valuable coverage for her game, such as a list of recently greenlit games. Scintillating coverage, really. One whole subordinate clause. Look at that link pop. :doge
