The subtext is kind of funny. "I may wear a bowtie on television, but my dick still works dammit!" It's like the Bronson Pinchot Playboy interview.

That was a wild conversation where you have people who were against doxxing and so called privacy advocates saying that Gawker had a right to release a sex tape.

“Because I’m not going to participate in the attempt to make this all about race. It’s ridiculous. How many black people were in Abraham Lincoln’s West Wing?” Pierson asked. “Is Abraham Lincoln a racist because he didn’t have a black person in the White House? The this is insane. This is an insane discussion.”

Quote
In 2006, Carlson described TV host Alexis Stewart, Martha Stewart’s daughter, as “cunty,” and said he wanted to “give her the spanking she so desperately needs.”

In 2008, when discussing an ad that featured Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, Carlson called the women the “biggest white whores in America.”

Carlson also expressed his own personal dislike of Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan ahead of her confirmation. Noting that he'd never vote for her, he said, “I do feel sorry for her in that way. I feel sorry for unattractive women... physically, the problems with her are fundamental. She’s never going to be an attractive woman.”

When speaking generally about women in 2006, Carlson offered his own brand of wisdom.

“You know what gets women going is arguing with them,” Carlson advises.

“It's true. It's true. You debate politics with a woman and just go—just full blown out there, especially feminism. If you're talking to a feminist, and she's giving you, ‘Well, men really need to be more sensitive,’ (say) ‘no, actually, men don't need to be more sensitive, you just need to be quiet and kind of do what you're told.’

A year later, he claimed to actually “love women.”

“But they're extremely primitive, they're basic, they're not that hard to understand. And one of the things they hate more than anything is weakness in a man.”

Republican donors in attendance called it one of Trump's weirdest lies ever. On Friday night, under a tent erected over the pool at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, President Trump claimed the media were spreading "fake news" when they said he called the CEO of Apple "Tim Apple."

Trump told the donors that he actually said "Tim Cook Apple" really fast, and the "Cook" part of the sentence was soft. But all you heard from the "fake news," he said, was "Tim Apple."

This is kinda sad, because "crazy bernie" was a good insult. "the nutty professor"? bernie doesnt have a teaching degree. It makes no sense.

Then again:

Trump described opening his curtain to look at Secret Service agents swarming the White House lawn. "They're in the trees, on the lawn," he said.

I mean, they are in the treese, but. :lol

Just look at the efficieny of word use in his Tweets.
He has developed that skill further and decided to apply it to his spoken words.
That's probably why he never finishes a sentence. The build in character limit saves time.

The only way to save enough time to secretly convene with Q without making it look suspicious.  :thinking

Someone should do a study on how Twitter character limits effect the brain. I bet the results are shocking.

Lincoln was pretty racist.

So was LBJ.

I think a good tactic would be for Trump to say “look how racist Lincoln and LBJ were, and how much better things got for the blacks when they were President! Vote Trunp!”

Tucker refusing to apologize for any of those comments is, sadly, the right move in today's environment. Apologizing is never a benefit to someone in these kind of situations. First off, the apology won't be accepted anyway, and secondly it admits guilt and brands you forever. Just say nah and bull through it and you might end up president one day.

I don’t see Tucker’s audience caring about this, in any case.

they're trying to target the advertisers and get him off television.

It just speaks to how the times have changed. Not that I think Carlson has grown from these views, but I doubt he would express them so brazenly in a public setting. This wasn't a couple of buddies shooting the shit, these clips from a live broadcast to thousands of listeners.

Andrew Yang deradicalizing the alt right by bribing them with free money instead of anti-immigrant racism is the most amazing political development I've seen in a while.
They have weirdly deradicalized themselves and it wasn't the real alt right more like the 'for the lulz' alt right.
The crypto dwellers and libertarians wanted Trump to change things up. But Trump has dropped more and more of his more 'radical' positions and is seemingly doing what Jared Kushner and Ivanka want him to do.
Mind you these are his 'younger' supporters, the boomers, including the Q-followers are still firmly in camp Trump. (which is also why the younger folks have left the fold).
Although Ann Coulter, Lou Dobbs and even Alex Jones are also turning on Trump.

Anyway the Trump people catering to the 'alt right' didn't really understand that it was more like a counter culture thing and they weren't going to show up at the conventions, town halls and book signings. Plus Trump doesn't really have a platform anymore.
The platform seems to be: "This is better than a Democrat in power at least" which is kinda hollow compared to what he used to run on. When the "wins" dry up so does his support as his entire platform is based on 'winning'.

Some say that the sudden love for Yang is simply a way to divide the Democrats and boost a candidate that can't possibly win in the general Election (perhaps even by Russia!).
But others see that $1000 no strings attached is a great policy and Yang doesn't shy away from doing interviews on Fox News and with Joe Rogan. He's now trying to bring some of Bernie's 2016 influencers into the fold.
