Shouldn't they be more replaceable? "Person with graduate degree in economics willing to say nice things about Republicans" seems like it would be an easy niche to fill.

It's pretty funny, when Trump or Pence asks Fauci to elaborate something he pretty much contradicts everything they just said and the other people look at Trump in shock.
When it came to drugs for example, Fauci said that it was his job to make sure it is safe and they wouldn't rush to use treatment that wasn't scientifically proven.
However, Fauci talks pretty upbeat so Trump seems to think he's totally with him and then thanks Fauci and tells something about how what he just said is an example of government, his genius and corporations coming together.
