Biden seems to have flipped this in the past few days with a lot of voters uniting behind Biden after his South Carolina win, the drop outs of the other candidates and Bloomberg bombing at the debates.

I don't get it with some of you guys.

Obama's Secretary of State was apparently the worst candidate ever. His second SoS was the worst candidate ever in 2004. Now his VP is apparently such trash that you'll be okay with a second Trump term if he's the nominee.

Who isn't trash? Who isn't "worst ever" tier besides Sanders? Was Obama himself trash? I honestly don't get it.

Obviously Biden would be better than Trump, and I would never tell anyone not to vote Biden if they’re in a swing state, but it’s disheartening to get excited for real change and then get smacked down by the status quo. I think the next few weeks will be hardest for Bernie supporters, but when November comes around people will swallow their pride and vote Biden. (though obviously people like Cindi will be too scornful to do this)

His VP was trash. I'm sorry you didn't know this until now, but I don't support droning children. Fuck him and Obama. "Change you can believe in," my ass. YAY, I can get married now (#FOREVERALONE!) who gives a shit when my state will still fire me based on my sexuality? "Change I can believe in!" Yeah, fuck off.

Quote
Who isn't trash?

Sanders. Bar none.

Quote
Who isn't "worst ever" tier besides Sanders?

None. But if I had to vote someone by holding my nose (and note: I fucking don't, this is what you don't seem to get), I'd choose Warren, despite her being a faux-progressive.

Quote
Was Obama himself trash?

Yes?

You seem to fail that most of us (or at least me) think the DNC is just as bad as the GOP. "BUT THEY AREN'T BECAUSE <policies that might be a little less shitty here>"

Yeah, Sure. Great. Ok.gif

Call me when primaries are fucking done, closed and open and caucuses. All of them. Do ranked choice voting like most fucking normal countries do. Then we can talk.

I'm not fine with another trump win. But if that's whom the democrats want to rally behind then they deserve the L. I've compomised much of my voting record on democrats that promise things and don't deliver or worse yet, don't even win. No longer. I've also checked out. I'm genuine in my want to move away from America. In my mind, it's out of my hand. I will vote for whom I want to. Not whom people think I should. American medocrity is one of my criticisms of the country. I'm not contributing to that politically any longer. As far as I can tell, it's not my country anymore. I can do whatrver I want.

Fuck settling and fuck voting without values.

Also fuck Obama, his legacy, his administration, and his party.

Of course Obama was trash, dude didn't even support gay marriage until halfway through his presidency. If Obama ran today he would have to be farther to the left, and how far he is to the left determines how trash he is. Not that hard. If Obama is out here telling us to keep private insurance or whatever then he's trash.

People are actually serious with the drone strike stuff? That isn't just an argument of convenience for you?

No. Obama's war mongering the prime reason I voted green in 2012 out of protest. He campaigned in 2008 as an opposite to Bush's war mongering. It's why I voted for him.

Obama blows.

Let's talk  about Obama admin not pursuing charges against wall street bankers while countries like Iceland locked theirs up like the criminals they are?

Or Obama basically pardoning Bush's war crimes.

Remember when Obama admin decided not to pursue an investigation on Bush administration out of bipartisanship?

Obama was trash. A regurgitated garbage dump. 1033 seat loss in eight years can't be wrong.

I never regretted not voting in 2010 despite the tea party take over.

The problem with some of you is you don't hate strongly enough.

You look at the Republican Party (not all the voters, but the party itself) and see something vaguely shittier than mainstream Dems. I look at the party and see the greatest concentration of evil since 1945.

You need to hate more.

Hate more by rallying behind Mr Compromise. Mr Reach Across The Aisle? Nah. I do think they're evil, so why are you asking me to cut deals with them?

This is one of the most baffling democrstic talking points.

"REPUBLICANS ARE EVIL!!!"

But also "We need someone to compromise with Republicans!"

It's asinine. They don't realize that constantly compromising is exactly how trump came to be. Democrats compromised with a metastasized, cancerous republican party for decades.

They're just as complicit and just as evil.

Not that it matters because texas is blood red but all your moral self-aggrandizement can't change this reality: you have a vote and you can choose between the regular brutality of capitalism but with twice the pell grants and respect for minorities, or you can choose jackboot fascism, the deportation machine, the slow rot of every institution, pure cuckoldry to the corporate megalith, a blank check to Israel, latin american soft-coups, and the willful ignorance of our coming climate change extinction.

All of your actions are a choice. Saying you won't compromise is just masturbation and you might as well be putting the kids in cages yourself. There's no difference between a Republican who sees this stuff and says "I don't care, I want tax cuts" and you who sees this stuff and says "I don't care, I won't vote for Joe". It's the same egotistical narcissism you think the average American has but you don't.
