They look at regulations/eos/policies they would have otherwise have been pushed back on, and tagging them on to "action".

That's what's taking so long, and like stro mentioned, these aren't temporary emergency measures an/or waivers, and that's going under the radar.

They're ignoring testing, so as to not have records, people will die and get sick but it'll be "unrelated" and they'll try to claim lower numbers.

It's disgusting.

Let's hope Biden pulls through and wins the election AND doesn't pussyfoot about pulling all this shit back.

Nope. Republicans on my Facebook are fine with the response. "What more could they do?";etc. They're even defending checks being tax-based. One Republican black woman's father even has the coronavirus with double pneumonia and has said she's pleased with Trump's response and leadership.

On one hand, it's a huge recession and that's normally bad news for an incumbent.

On the other, there's clearly a huge crisis causing the recession so people will be less likely to blame the president.

On the other other hand, political leaders can usually get a big temporary boost from just showing up during a crisis and a +10 bump (in handling of the crisis not overall approval) is maybe a sign of how weak Trump is.
