President Trump has told people in recent days that he regrets following some of son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner's political advice — including supporting criminal justice reform — and will stick closer to his own instincts, three people with direct knowledge of the president's thinking tell Axios.

Behind the scenes: One person who spoke with the president interpreted his thinking this way: "No more of Jared's woke s***." Another said Trump has indicated that following Kushner's advice has harmed him politically.
Quote
Trump never really wanted criminal justice reform, according to people who have discussed the subject with him privately. He's told them he only supported it because Kushner asked him to. Though he has repeatedly trumpeted it as a politically useful policy at times.

Trump now says privately it was misguided to pursue this policy, undercutting his instincts, and that he probably won't win any more African American support because of it.
Quote
The president also pays close attention to Fox News' Tucker Carlson. A few weeks ago, in a brutal monologue, Carlson blamed Kushner for giving Trump bad advice.

"In 2016, Donald Trump ran as a law-and-order candidate because he meant it," Carlson said. "And his views remain fundamentally unchanged today. But the president's famously sharp instincts, the ones that won him the presidency almost four years ago, have been since subverted at every level by Jared Kushner."

It hasn't escaped Trump's attention that Carlson has recently been the highest-rated host on cable news. Trump, generally skeptical about polls, views television ratings as a kind of substitute poll, according to a person who's discussed the subject with him.

William Barr fired the prosecutor in New York or something but Trump denies having anything to do with it.
But I'm not sure about those theories. After all Epstein died in custody of that same prosecutor.

The theory is:

- SDNY wanted to move in on Maxwell and a bunch of other investigations including a probe into Rudy G. and a bunch of others of the Trump gang
- Trump huddled together with his confidants, they fire the prosecutor over the weekend and name an 'acting replacement'
- The prosecutor goes public, saying this is done to stop him from investigating Trump and friends
- Trump throws Barr under the bus
- Barr covers for Trump
- New prosecutor is confirmed (but not the Trump crony)

A few weeks pass

- July 1st Trump's 'Personal lawyer' Rudy travels from New York to the White House in the middle of a pandemic for seemingly no reason at all, looking quite nervous
(because someone at the FBI still thinks it's necessary to tell Rudy what they are doing?)
- July 2nd Maxwell is arrested by the FBI

July 4th a firecracker accidentally snaps the neck of Maxwell

$50 that Maxwell implicates no one of consequence, and her capture now is just to close the book on Epstein by establishing the "official tale".

Bill Barr's dad hired 20 year old no degree having college dropout Jeffrey Epstein as a physics and calculus teacher at the private academy Dalton School in the early 70s. He then suggested he work on Wall Street and even set him up with a senior partner at Bear Stearns.

Years later, Bill Barr worked at the law firm that worked out the insane no prosecution deal to Epstein in 2008. Other lawyers at the firm and on the team included: Alan Durshowitz and Kenneth Starr, both of whom were on Trump's team in his impeachment trial. The prosecutor in the case who agreed to the deal in secret and in violation of the Crime Victim's Rights Act was Alexander Acosta, who was Donald Trump's secretary of labor and resigned last year when Epstein was arrested again and people looked into the first case and were full of :what Bill Barr later had to recuse himself from involvement in Epstein related cases....until he decided to ignore that and has repeatedly been involved in Epstein related cases since.

Of course, Donald Trump was good friends with Epstein for 15 years.

And 2 weeks before the SDNY brought down the hammer on Epstein's madam, Bill Barr out of the blue makes a public show of firing the prosecutor who was also the prosecutor in last year's Epstein case.

That's exactly what that entire article is about assface.

Quote
The total is more than Mr. Trump and the R.N.C. ever raised in a single month in 2016.

Quote
The totals were impressive in different ways. For Mr. Biden, the huge sum represented a reversal after he had struggled with fund-raising for much of the primary campaign, as well as a signal that the party’s donors, big and small, have united behind him. For Mr. Trump, it showed the durability of his financial supporters, who delivered his strongest month yet despite a turbulent June and polling showing him trailing Mr. Biden badly.

Positing of trump as someone losing access to money and resources.

It's literally saying Biden has raised more money than Trump, in the past 2 months, not that Biden's warcrate is larger than Trump's

Yes, that's what the headline is literally saying. I agree.

Biden is doing better than expected in the fundraising game.

Besides he doesn't have to spend to a lot on Ferrari's for his campaign manager only on ZOOM memberships :biden

The problem for Trump is that his campaign has sorta become this juggernaut business of its own with his family and advisors getting huge pay-outs unable to quickly adapt while the senior staff is busy handling White House business.
Trump's campaign today is not unlike the inefficient Clinton and Bush campaigns he criticized in 2015/2016. In fact Trump retweets more memes from his Twitter supporters than he does campaign material.  :doge
The time that Trump beat opponents who outspend him 10:1 is long gone. The Trump campaign has already spend 200 million while the Biden campaign spend 100 - 130 million.

Back in 2016 Trump only spend about $400 million on his presidential campaign and 70 million on his primary run.
He's not reaching Hillary levels yet (230m primary / 800m campaign) but it's getting close.

Bringing back Lewandowski for 'guerilla' and 'creative' campaigning while Brad keeps pouring millions into the Facebook ad AI doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

It also doesn't say anything about him losing access to money and resources and in fact says his financial supporters are dependable and durable. Literally says he had HIS strongest month of donations in June. It's just that Biden got more donations from his people.

It also doesn't say anything about him losing access to money and resources and in fact says his financial supporters are dependable and durable. Literally says he had HIS strongest month of donations in June. It's just that Biden got more donations from his people.

You ignorant fuck.

Holy shit, did someone replace your brain with a pile of gizzards? The article is putting Biden as gaining ground on trumps money game.

Fucking hell, what a biscuit you are.

The only way you could get that from the article is if you think Trump and Biden have the same donor group.

Well, they do.
