This is what a lot of game directors do after a certain point on the game. They don't write code or script missions or regress bugs or fix textures or tighten up animations etc etc. So they either do press stuff or they "play test" the game and yell at the people who do all the actual work. The dev team is probably working on the Day 1 patch that actually finishes the game. There's almost nothing productive for someone like Kojima to do at this stage.

Through the insane amount of memes that will most likely spawn from this game, I think more will be spoiled than one would like.

On a side note, Kojima confirmed he's already well into development for his next project. Fingers crossed it's another new IP and not a sequel to DS.

It looks exactly like a Metal Gear, tbh, so i'm sure it'll have the same humor peppered throughout (i mean already having holograms of Conan or Geoff is hinting at that).

I found it a bit odd that they used old gameplay footage from other trailers (like him walking in the snow) in this one though.

Also funny how during the cast reveal at the end, every single character is crying. I expect BIG melodrama.

Only thing every review I've seen is consistent about, is that they say the game's not for everyone. Sounds like every video game ever made.
