In 2012, I was set to interview for a position at R* San Diego but, before we could meet, it ended up being redefined two more times into something I didn't want to do. I demurred.
After I took a job elsewhere, I learned that a co-worker at my new job had came from Rockstar; I praised their work-to-date, and in return they educated me about the work environment there. Apparently I had seriously dodged a bullet. Everybody wants to be known for their work on a landmark franchise; why not just do the work, build your reputation with co-workers as a trustworthy and supportive team member? That strategy pays off, but grandstanding prima donnas are :foreveralone.gif
