They don't know about the politics between staff. The in-fighting. Or the moments when your administrator/owner says,"we need more content. therefore, we need quotas. Meet your content quota or get booted. Be an example." They think being staff is all fun and games. Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nicca nah! They about to learn. All of this combined with the fact they're running a start up which WILL be infiltrated by 4chan trolls hoping to doxx and hack which will force them to recruit, vet, and more.

Chinese silver needle had a bit of a learning curve/adaptation for me but I’ve grown to prefer it to green tea (gunpowder and dragon pearl jasmine were my go to’s). I also spent too much $ on mariages freres and wasn’t too impressed. The French blue earl grey was good but their other ‘signature’ blends left a lot to be desired. I think my one great contribution to GAF was the Demon's Souls OT for the import version. Then Dark Souls OT, so I guess 2 things. Those were great threads and especially for Demons, the community came together.

Demon's thread was great. It was around before GAF started to go to shit and helped a bit before the wiki's started to take over for the series. Really good thread.

Totally, 2009 or so I think? GAF was quite different back then. Lots of fun in there. I helped a lot with the wiki too, with a couple other dudes from SA. But yea, for the last few years, I was just keeping my head low. Stayed on gaming side or in gaming community OTs, for the most part.

Yeah, definitely. It was right before the PS3 started to turn it around for the generation. It's amazing how the Soul's series mutated. It started out grass-roots and then became HUGE once 360 players were able to play Dark Souls. I kinda miss that "small town" community of the series. Now we have "lol git gud xd"
