You mean how am I buying these alts?

Or which crypto exchange I'm using? (Bittrex)

Or something else?

It was what exchange you were using.  Thanks!

Acceptable Gains. Not mind blowing but I'll take what I can get.  :doge

When I was opening gifts with the fam I had 2.7 BTC for a split second...  :doge

Steem and Burst are gonna get me to 3 BTC town. :rejoice

I would buy Metal as well but I don't like being in more than two alts at a time. Very stressful.  :doge

edit: hit 3 BTC for a second but Steem is looking like it could keep on going up for a while.

Indeed.

Part of the reason why I'm posting my "insane" gains is show that a financial dummy, like myself, can make money in this market. And thus inspire others to hop on this money train while it lasts.

The other reason is to brag/feel good about myself.  :doge

BTC is back. My poor alts. :noah

edit: so much for being close to 3 BTC...  :goty2

edit2: I've seen this play out hundreds of times yet I still get caught in it.

-A bunch of alts have bullruns
-Then they slowdown due to people taking profits
-BTC begins to twitch up and the *BOOM* it skyrockets due to everyone dumping their alt profits into it

edit3: I was able to get most of my portfolio back into BTC before it exploded. 1/3 of it is just fucksville at the moment.

My USD value is pretty good considering what's happening.

Yep. Bittrex's servers can't handle the traffic/demand.

I got an account on there months before the mainstream media hype started building about cryptocurrencies.

what are the chances monero or ripple hit coinbase this year?

I wouldn't bet my life on either getting onto coinbase. Especially after Bitcoin Cash ended up on there...

But if I had to make a wild "educated guess" I would give ripple a 25 to 35% chance. Monero a 1 to 5% since it has too much "dirt" on it due to it being associated with the gray & black market/the darknet.

XLM might be a potential coin that could end up on there. (kinda wish I held onto some since it keeps on getting more media attention). But again, I wouldn't bet my life on that.

edit: BAT might be another potential contender but... again wouldn't seriously bet on that either.

If things don't go crazy again I might get close again to the $40K range.

I had some money in MCO and that was what took the heaviest loss since I bought relatively high.

So I just doubled down on my MCO investment on the big dip and put a sell order right where I had initially bought it at.

I might end up using the strategy more and more since BTC isn't going away anytime soon...

Argh...

Should've held most of my Steem but instead I sold a good chunk of it before the BTC spike and didn't buy back in. And of course, it recovered in record time.

MCO is still down in the gutter...

edit: I still don't understand what is causing steem to be so bullish.

No, it's fairly reasonable, and the value is locked at the time of transfer. Bank wires take up to five days to go through, debit card I think it tales one day.
