@demi

Nah, just here.

Also, now that I've hit my 3 BTC/$50K target I'm going keep the rest of my gains to myself.

edit: also, I'm back down to $48K or so. But I'm just gonna keep on earning more sats to counter balance my USD losses.

It'll bounce pretty soon I think. CMC basically gave us a small window to snatch up cheap alts. Increased my STRAT and XLM positions.

I can only imagine what someone is thinking/feeling when they sell the absolute bottom of a dip.

Probably panic buying back in to ride the wave back up.  :doge

I am. Especially if I hit six figures before tax season.

The IRS doesn't fuck around.

I've been using CoinTracker to keep track of all of my gains and losses from my Bittrex trades.

You don't file shit. You file it and don't be surprised to get audited so they can look into any past gains not filed in previous years. What you have to do is figure out how you can pull money out without triggering anything. Maybe fly down and open an account in the Caymans.

Yeah, getting taxed on every single crypto to crypto trade/transaction is pretty fucking ridiculous.

It goes both ways. If you buy some Bitcoin to spend on Alts and Bitcoin's value goes down before you buy the Alts then you get a taxable loss that subtracts from your gains.

You file it as short term capital gains, right?

Yeah, unless you've held it for more than a year.

The masked idol maids were brought together to promote a future where initial coin offering (ICO) offer hope, instead of the risks of "fraud" and "crashes" sometimes associated with virtual currency. Each member is promoting a specific cryptocurrency and the group is led by BitCoin Cash idol Rara Nanase. The other members represent the original BitCoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Neo (NEO), Mona (MONA), Cardano (ADA), NEM (XEM), and Ripple (XRP).

No genius/expertise on my part except from the time when I paper traded forex markets.

The one thing that may slow you down is that certain crypto exchanges have ceased new member sign-ups.

Also, I'm doing somewhat of a risky maneuver before I go to bed. I'm all in alts so... if bitcoin pumps I'm fucked. If bitcoin dumps I'm fucked. If bitcoin goes sideways I'll be okay.  :doge

It looks like it could breakout and go up but I mainly use litecoin for its fast transfer speeds and not so much to hold/trade with.

But its price action is pretty much tied with bitcoins. So if bitcoin goes up it will as well.

Also, I think I'm not going to actively trade for a week or two and just hold and wait for my alts to rise.

I'm slowly beginning to realize that as soon as I feel like celebrating about my gains it's time for me to GTFO and go into tether/USDT. At least while BTC is bearish.

But in 3 or 5 days BTC might reverse and go bullish for all I know.

I'm in this conundrum at the moment.

I'll holding 4, currently, light bags and 1 heavy bag.

Part of me wants to sell at a slight loss and just go all in on BTC and buy back into the alts, I'm currently looking at, at a lower price. (they could potentially bleed for days)

OR I just keep on holding and HOPE that 2 or 3 of them pump up.

edit: I think no matter what I do I'll get fucked over some how.  :doge

If anyone wants to buy RLC, MCO, STEEM, SIACOIN, and BURST they're going to be super cheap pretty soon.

edit: Also, I'm just going to hold all of these alts. My time to exit them while still being ahead has already past.

They all seem to be solid coins with promising fundamentals behind them. Hopefully that saves them in the long run.

I'm holding about equal bags of ADA (mostly bought at 600 sats) and XLM (50% 2100 sats 50% 3800 sats).

Unlikely to lose money, but I could've doubled my shares of each selling the ATH a little while back.

Also, I feel incredibly dumb holding 5 alts that are just stagnant.

I just hope we’re not going into a year long bear market.
