Yeah. You know, while I think shining a light on the outright sleaziness of the entertainment industry is ultimately a good thing, I can't help feel uneasy about this culture of 'listen and believe'. I know some people make the argument that outside of a courtroom setting it is the job of citizens to believe women until there is evidence to the contray (this is the exact opposite of due process), but that doesn't take into account that it destroys people's lives regardless. Okay they may not get sentenced to prison, but they still lose their jobs and livelihood and are treated pretty much as a pariah. There is a huge consequence to simply being accused that will change a person's life forever.
