This is an important and understandably controversial news topic which is why we expect members to not just automatically dismiss it because of partisanship. Posts mocking the entire article with "will she get impeached?" are not really constructive and do
not really add a lot to the topic at hand which is about Mr. Strider, his actions and Clinton's reaction to them.

If this thread derails too much into a Hillary VS Trump thread (or Dems VS Reps) and completely loses focus, we are forced to close it down since in our experience nothing good comes from those kind of threads. Thanks for your understanding!

Why would they ever let Kirblar be a mod. Out of all the terrible mod decisions, that one sticks out really hard to me since he was a pretty low tier and not even notable poster on GAF.

A guy I know who stuck around in the staff Discords after they forgot to remove him told me this. A little while ago the carefully curated mod team of ResetEra figured out that policing a bunch of crybabies is actually a lot of work and complained about how much work it was on Discord. Some felt like quitting the thing all together and some mods aren't even active anymore, just mods in name only. To fix this they added more mods but not really the best people just the ones willing to spend time to police the board as no sane person would. Some of the mods also don't dare to question the judgment of their 'minority' co-workers because they fear the backlash and dog-piling.

Which is also why they lock threads so quickly because some don't want to waste too much time modding the damn thing and why mods with the most time on their hands can basically enjoy their power trip without being second guessed by fellow mods.
Their dream has ended anyway. They thought that on ResetEra the industry insiders that once roamed GAF would return. But the old posters have since already left. Basically joined to say hi and watched the Marxist/transgender/Nintendo orgy and ran for the hills.

If they manage to chase away the sales agers (of which the signs all already there) they've basically cast out all their most valuable members faster than the elf ever did. All they have left is the sales people, Nintendo hype threads and the drunk/intoxicated posts of  HALO man.

From my first interaction with Sweet Nicole, to all the nutso shit and people involved in the discord crisis stuff, to them trying to co-opt me into their site, nah. ResetEra was literal garbage before it was even set up. That was super apparent to anybody who was active on any GAF adjacent discords when all of this went down.

I'm actually surprised it's going as well as it is. The people who started this have no idea how to respect and interact with an actual community of real people.

I’m also used. You can see that in fandoms that are tangential to this issues, but I legit think it got worse in this 3 years at some places that at least tried to be nuanced and not choosing a mod that is seriously arguing for making characters gay to appeal a little segment of a market.
