Yeah I have a Google Calendar event set to auto-email me every 3 months so I'm reminded to message all my friends in Hangouts and quiz them briefly on how they feel about trans people. Sometimes they pretend to be incredulous that I'm asking about it again, which signals that it's a topic they're at least uncomfortable about, if not outright in opposition to. I've discovered that most of my "friends" tend to get really upset about trans people after I've known them for a year. Just a sign of the times I guess.

Yeah, everyone doesn't like the second album. The third one, Nude though is a hell of a lot better. Still it really is hard to follow up that first album. So much great shit.

yea... you know how everyone had certain bands they looked down on during their formative years? skinny puppy was one of those bands for me largely because their fanbase -- which made up a large majority of my friends during highschool and after -- were dismissive of a lot of the shit i ~~liked~~ loved at the time, specifically nirvana and sonic youth

i really regret never going with them to their concerts and i was invited on at least two occasions.
