Getting beat up in front of my little brother.

When I was little I lived in Detroit; my dad was doing his residency at the time so we didn't have a lot of money at the time. Next door there was a house where a prostitute did her thing.

Anyway way one day I was riding my bike around the block and I decided to go all the way to the corner; my mom had always told me not to go that far down the street. I passed this one house where about 4-5 kids lived, and a couple were out of the porch. They told me not to drive by their house again (I went to school with their sister) and I laughed them off. So I rode my bike back to my house and then turned around and headed back to the corner. Once again they told me not to come that way, and once again I passed the house and rode back to my house.

When I got back home my brother (who I was supposed to be watching since our parents were out) told me to stay near our house like mom said, but I blew him off and rode off again.

This time when I got to the corner I didn't see anyone on the porch. When I turned my bike around 3 of them were there. They grabbed me off my bike, threw it it onto the grass, and started pushing me around. At first it seemed like they were just intimidating me, but eventually someone punched me in the back of the neck. I fell on the ground, and they proceded to kick the crap out of me. Then they grabbed me by the straps on my helmet and started yanking me around.

I was yelling like mad and cars were passing by but no one helped. Eventually my brother came by on his tricycle and just stared. I yelled at him "GO CALL MOM" and he turned him tricycle and started heading home. A few minutes later he came back and was like "Maurice I don't know where she is what do I do" and started crying. After a few more minutes they threw me in the street and ran in their house.

I ran/limped home and hid under my bed. I didn't want my brother to see me anymore

You know the scariest part about that story? One of my friends goes to the same college as her and when he saw her, she didn't really remember him, but she remembered me specifically. I must have made an impression on her as her 200 pound frame was suffocating me.

The other was watching my brother get hit in the head with a baseball bat by a 16 year old kid. When I was like 7, my neighbor used to come over and hang out with us. (Rural America and there were like only 5 other families in a 10 mile radius). He was really nice and was trying to teach us how to play baseball. My brother was standing behind while I was pitching. He kept telling him to move back, but very slowly, my brother would just keep moving forward just because he thought it was cool to watch. Well, during of the swings, my brother moved forward and he swung and hit my brother in the head. This was a big guy and my brother is tiny and only like 8 years old. My brother and I have always been REALLY close. I freaked out. I remember my dad grabbing my brother and geting him in his truck while my neighbor drove us to the hospital. My dad was freaking out because my brother kept spitting up blood and stopped breathing sometimes. I thought I was going to watch my brother die.

this one's gonna make enemies, and although it's not the most disturbing, it's one i can share

so there was this dog named Bingo that used to harrass us when we rode our bikes past its section of the hillbilly neighborhood i lived in. it was this big ol' nasty german shepard lookin' mutt and it was mean as piss -- once took a chunk out of my neighbor's calf. anyway, i was 14 and just got a CO2 pistol with these hollow dart things for christmas. being venal, creepy hillbillies, we filled the darts with weed eater (roundup, i think) and went Bingo huntin'. my brother had a CO2 pistol, too, and we put like 4 of those poisoned darts into the dog's hide, which sent that bitch yelping. never saw it again.

found out after i went to college that the owner -- who was this old asshole -- had to have the dog put to sleep that year because of an "unknown illness". the old guy who owned Bingo was apparently really distressed over losing his dog. jesus i felt bad, but fuck! don't raise such a mean dog!

Finally I said I'd let him play with them. Now mind you, my GI Joes were precious to me, and giving them up was equal to someone giving up anal on the first date. I brought them outside, and we had a blast playing with them.

As it started getting dark outside, Courtney asked if he could borrow my GI Joes for the night, and give them back in the morning. I originally said no, but when he threatened to stop playing with me I said yes.

The next morning arrived, and after I got washed up I ran walked to Courtney's house to get my stuff. As I walked up his driveway I saw most of my GI Joes on the ground smashed; he had thrown them out of his window onto the pavement below. When I asked what happened, he said his mom did it, while trying to hold back laughter. I cried.
