I have no problem with this. I could see someone basically not wanting to deal with the fact that the person they loved and cared for turned into this monster. Then would somewhat twist the words when talking about this loved one to their son. Not acknowledging what their "brother" turned into. It's a pretty human thing to do.Too bad the prequels sucked and didn't sell Obi Won and Anakin's friendship.
