I don't think anyone is confused about non-verbal cues being a thing, it is just that leaving it up to the person to read them correctly rather than explicitly saying how you feel, may not be the best way of going about it.

Yeah of course;  but it's still a good conversation to have IMO.  For both sides of the equation;  for men dealing with women who are sending a lot of signals but not outright leaving and for women doing the same.  The men should stop and the women should leave and/or be more forceful.

Should the described behavior be considered criminal? Honestly i don't care that much;  I've never acted anywhere near like that and never will.  I'd say probably not but I'm not going to cry for someone like Azis if they end up in legal trouble over chasing a woman around an apartment who keeps pushing them away.

I think in this situation, Aziz showed that he's an emotional infant and that he thought she was playing hard to get.

That was probably a fair call considering she is 10 years younger than him, he met her a party when she was with someone else, she gave him her number, and then after a dinner-date they went back to his house. It seems pretty clear even from her account that Aziz thought she was a starfucker, and in his mind she had come to his apartment for sex.

I say that as someone who hates Aziz as a comedian, and who thinks the story TVC relayed about him was way worse than this.

If you give a celebrity your phone number at a party and then go on a date and they invite you back to their apartment, and then you find out they want to fuck you and have no other interest in you otherwise, that's a miscommunication.
