As from someone from outside, I don't think I'm the best person to indicate who should be the next Democrat candidate, but help me understand something: we see Hillary Clinton, Beto and Bernie names being tossed around since 2016 for the 2020 elections. Other than Hillary, people keep talking about "the next Obama".

Why the hell aren't people rallying for Obama himself to run again? Hell, maybe Michelle Obama? I feel like Obama would take down Trump easily, why people in the USA aren't trying to convince him or Michelle to run in 2020?

The presidency is limited to two terms so Barack can't run again and Michelle hates politics.

The way I see it, this would be two consecutive terms, so a third term is possible in theory at least, or am I missing something here?
