IDK, I don't have a kid, but there seems like an obvious life progression barrier, like having a kid, that if you are still punching holes in a wall or breaking controllers over a game/genre you refuse to throw the towel in on, to the point of traumatizing your family, the only posting about that online you should be doing a year later is a plea for help on an addiction forum or as a retrospective about "why I needed to give up playing X."
It's even more concerning that the guy seems to be mediocre at the game. It might be one thing if you were earning good money or something, but you basically suck.
