It's an interesting point.  Because so much of the dynamic of moderation is based on what race the poster is, your post history would have to serve as proof of your ethnicity and evidence of how you're able to contribute to threads in the future.  In other words, places like the BCT are now leveraged beyond more than just a place where black folks get together to talk about their own issues -- it's now transformed itself into an arm of moderation of the forum, and inextricably tied to how everyone else is treated on there.  It's no accident that their thread is the only place you can bitch about moderation with impunity.

Kendrick Lamar should have just told her before she went up on stage to clear up any confusion. If a black author asked me to be the voice of their novel for the audiobook version, and the book contained the n-word, i would say it. Similarly if i was cast in the part of a play, written by a black author, where a character said the n-word, i would assume they want me to say. So if a black lyricist wants me to repeat their lyrics, i don't think it’s unreasonable to confused about whether or not to say the n-word contained in those lyrics.
