So trans women shouldn't be held as equals to cis women in a conservation about women because they grew up as boys?
or maybe people raised as boys are more likely to be involved or interested in things that are stereotypically male?
Here are the facts:
Boys/men are raised to express their opinion loudly
Girls/women are raised to be quiet, defer to others, and to check in with a man before speaking.
I learned this from Resetera btw, so I know it's true. This is why we have mansplaining, for example, because men are encouraged to talk about everything, including things they dont know about.
It follows then, that someone who grew up as a boy, would have been encouraged to speak up and speak loud and dominate the conversation. And to do so at the expense of people raised as girls.
The thread has since been dominated by trans posters.
Maybe it's time they sit down and listen?
This is extremely dumb.
It’s more socially acceptable for a girl to dress in boys clothes. Tom boys are a thing.
If a boy dresses as a girl, he will be labeled as a taco.
Therefore, from the jump, there’s far more support for trans boys and men. They don’t need much community or support for transition. Just inject T for the most part.
But a trans woman has to overcome the label of “taco” because boys dressing as a girl, much less becoming one is far more taboo, and therefore needs more support and community. Never mind that E is less powerful than T and it takes much, much more effort and time to transition from male to female than the opposite. A trans man takes T and his voice drops naturally. A trans woman takes E and her voice is the same there by necessitating the need for voice training to raise it. And that’s just one small thing.
Basically, you don’t know what you’re talking about and sound really, really dumb and should probably never give an opinion on trans people ever again.
