Such a weird concept. I don't get the impression male politicians explicitly appeal to being fatherly figures in campaign. It would come across as smug and patronizing. The label is used sometimes (Father of the nation, etc...) but it feels like it is to be earned or at least not self-appointed. Plus
grandmother made her sound even older.
I guess they were really desperate to have her come across as more human.
