I am white and went to see Black Panther with my mom and some of her work friends (all white). When we walked out I was so touched by the movie. I hadn't seen a movie that made me feel like that. I was happy that others in the world would get to see it and knew it was special. When I started trying to put in to words how great it was; one of the friends said "It was too political for me."I didnt even know what to say and just walked away. I informed my mom that her friend was most likely racist. I'm in Eastern KY for reference.
