One thing I will say about about that Spider-Man game is that it may has the most uncanny valley character models that I have seen in a tent pole release in a long time. All the non masked characters in cut scenes look creepy and unreal (at least in stills).It feels almost like a step back

Some of them showed up in later films, but as the debut team of X-Men, it wasn't all of their possible stars in the beginning. A new film could easily drop most of the first movie cast and even bring in some more interesting and diverse characters like Moonstar, Oya, Dust or M.
