I cancelled my sub months ago when they started to kiss the administrations ass and give platforms to shitheads. Fuck the Times for bending the knee.
I'm glad we're done with the whole "support NY Times because Trump is tough on them!" shtick. They don't deserve everyone's cheer-leading.
Hitting them where it hurts makes them wake the fuck up and realize they have a responsibility they've been neglecting on occasion. For such a reputable, wide reaching, influential outlet that should happen only once in a blue moon.
Yeah I finally cancelled earlier this year after a string of irresponsible reporting and shitty op-eds and that trend seems to have not stopped. They absolutely do some good stuff over there, but I didn't feel comfortable giving them money anymore with some of their shit, which is unfortunate since I really believe in paying for sites etc to support them.
NYT had historically been shitty, because they are the status quo Mag. And when you are talking issues like:Nazis pre and during WW2VietnamThe Iraq WarEtc.They have messed up a lot. It's partially why the Post is so important.
