I think it was the recent thread here about a certain character’s sexuality that piqued my interest. Started watching it with my sister, who was quite skeptical at first (and she REALLY isn’t a fan of zombies), but after the second episode we were hooked. Like Mariip said, it does do a lot of things right and it’s an interesting allegory on idol culture.
