You can also search for "militarism" and "video games" to get to the jargon stuff. Basically a known quantity since the 90's, and in my personal opinion and experience really since Half-Life: Opposing Force put the player in the role of soldiers as the "good guys" rather than the countercultural bad guys that they had been portrayed as up till that point, including in the main game itself.
A lot of people will argue that Wolfenstein or Doom 3d would already fill those shoes, but ID Software has firmly started in the countercultural ideas and never really got to a point where the military would be considered "good". In Doom they are the cause of the events rather than the answer, as provided by the lone soldier aka Doom Guy, and in Wolfenstein they are the enemy in the form of the nazi's with the MC being a resistance fighter.
As far as I know, outside of tank games and such, the tone and stories never blatantly came in favor of pro-military views until OpFor came out. Halo was already following the trend at its release, not leading it.

Reading the Metro epic store exclusivity thread, I can see why someone might think a PC Gaming For Console Warriors 101 might be ncessary, assuming the charity that people who are hardened console warriors are just unaware of how the PC marketplace works and why someone money hatting a title for a year is kind of shitty, rather than assuming those console warriors have a generic anti-PC grudge and a dislike at steam in particulars success in getting 'their' games, and desire to see it fail.

Working with people in academia* and the public sector almost everyone I know who hates Bernie enough to actually bring it up regularly considers themselves left-wing or even socialist. I've heard more Trump supporters (in my family mostly) say they'd consider Bernie against someone else than PoliERA types said they'd ever support Bernie. I bet they'd stay home if he was the D nominee. Actual Republicans/conservatives don't seem to pay much mind to Bernie. Especially now that they have Sandy.

CBC's Fifth Estate had a piece about incels last night. The Lone Wolf
They talked with one of them who made a music video that praised Alek Minassian, the Toronto van mass murderer. The reporter apparently talked with the guy for 3 hours and got him to change his views about the toxic social media he was frequenting. He deleted his music video and is no longer part of that incel scene.

Just talking to these guys and getting them away from that toxic atmosphere makes a difference. Shutting down these terrible social media sites should be a priority.

It´s basically a mishmash of two core problems, a lot of lonely people and a lot of toxic garbage online that leads to radicalization.

First step should be deplatforming. Crack down on these incel sites and forums. There is no reason why any of those should exist. If there is less exposure to this kind of ideology there will be less people affected.

Second step is to help people that have problems and mental health issues. There needs to be a far bigger focus on metal health in general.

Step one: validate all their wacko theories and eliminate the few support systems they do have.

Step two: get everyone better mental health help.

I even said in my first post he was lampooning conservatives. What I agreed with Benji about was the shift in primary purpose. He mocked conservatives with the primary purpose to channel his funny. Now he mocks conservatives and dresses it with some limited humor for the primary purpose of mocking conservatives. IMO, humor was first and foremost on Colbert Report, even though the right was always the target. Now politics seems to be first and foremost.
