Brazil didn't play well enough for me to see them as anywhere close to favorites, it's why I'm not even mad they're out. Belgium was the better team all tournament, and your salt just makes Brazil's exit all the more entertaining.

Hopefully Brazil gets some better players next time. I'd rather have a new "leader" than whatever the fuck Neymar is supposed to be. Unlike you, I don't overrate every single individual player in this squad out of some misplaced fanboyism. They're better than they were in 2014, but not by much.

It amazes me that there are honestly people out there saying Belgium played well. They did absolutely nothing for most of the game. They got an own goal, a lucky fucking own goal that shaped the match in the beginning. 3 shots on net, a nice goal went in and then did absolutely nothing at all but park the bus.

Let's be real now. Brazil missed their chances, if the one or two went in and brazil walked away with it Belgium would have been laughed at forever.

They played incredibly smart and left no space. Had incredibly dangerous ~~counter attacks~~ set pieces which led to the 0-2. Their first half was brillant.
Of course they gonna sit back the second half, why should they go for the third goal? That would have been stupid.

Brazil was able to create chances when Belgium was exhausted and Brazil failed to capitalize, sometimes in spectacular fashion.

i just rewatched the game.

Sorry, Fifa was sending a message. That Gabriel Jesus play was a PK, and at minimum a yellow card. The ref didn't even go look at the fucking play, he fully trusted the VAR for all decisions. Why? Why was this different than any other game where with any doubt the ref went to see the screen, especially a major call like that in a major game? Just reeks of something fishy.

In this he didn't bother one fucking time, just like the foul that resulted in a goal in the first game with Switzerland ( the clearest foul imaginable).It's like the whole VAR policy changed when it came to brasil.

You want to talk about Neymar diving??? Shit like this, favoritism on Fifas part will ruin this game more than anything.
