I never listened to him during his career aside from the "Gronk being Gronk" stuff you bump into on ESPN or Twitter.
Then I saw two of his interviews where he is being candid. One where he talked about not enjoying football anymore at that CBD conference and then the one he did one on one with someone not too long ago (late August at the latest). Both times he looked and spoke in a way that made me give a look like "I don't know if this is the toll the game took on him or if he's more or less a meat head with a more limited vocabulary as he stumbles for words when talking seriously". And I mean that in a kind way. This a young man and I'm not sure if the game is what makes him come off the way he does or if he was like that even going back 10 years ago. I'm just talking about his mind. Not the quality of his character or lifestyle.
