I literally can't wait until tomorrow :lawd

- Sixth villager moving in!
- Able Sisters opening!
- First ramp constructed!

In a couple days things will have settled into normal AC game mode. :whew

I love how every day there's something new to tackle. I still have three fish I could try and catch at this moment!

Can i just leave fruit hanging or will it rot?

Want to let it hang for a few days so I can harvest everything at the same time, and from then on same time every time.

Fruit doesn't rot, whether on trees or on the ground. :)

Didn’t it used to? Could have sworn it would on the ground. Since it doesn’t, guess I’ll start shaking my trees to grow more!

:thinking I only remember turnips rotting... maybe rotting fruit was a thing in the GC version? But that would make sense with the dump area.

Which OMG I can totally replicate now!!

Confirm please: able sisters is the last shop available and NPCs like Leif are just one time events. Given that Blathers' cute sister showed up the other night just for the meteor shower I'm assuming it's true. So are other animal crossing characters just kind of window dressing? Is this about a community like in past animal crossing games? What is the end game here?

Hah I thought the same thing, there's actually QR codes going around of the ACNH official renders if you want lol.

But I'm gonna rely on my map. PROTIP that I just realized today: by shoveling trees you can tell what they are even without fruit, so if you accidentally dig up a fruit tree, you can plant it right back. I'm removing all my non-fruit trees on the first level.

Making the tree types based on elevation was a brilliant move by the ACNH devs. I now don't want to immediately remove all my evergreens. I'll just keep them segmented on their own level away from the fruit. :D

I don't remember that being the case in GC and WW. Maybe it was something in NL?

But yeah takes a bit of fun out of harvest time. It's a 5x return sure, but on a possibly 2x timescale... Worth it but not as good as 1x (3 days.)

No, I believe people can have different buy prices, but it's a small enough difference to not really matter. (I think it's usually like 90-95 bells, but not 100% sure.)

And if you expect to be online it might just be better to focus on native fruit and sell off island.

Maybe Oranges will be Boisdale's economic engine after all  :hmm

Games are a service.

Also, Nintendo really fucked up this while voice chat thing. Not easy or intuitive enough, or at all lol.

Yeah I put mine on the second level, secluded by evergreens...

(Image removed from quote.)

Also, my updated resource map. :) Actually you can see where I put it (the white square to the north.)

Aiming to have 6 of each type (not counting coconuts) before attempting to plant more. Want to have an evenly-spread out balance of fruits! (Blue fruits are a mystery but at this point I believe they're pears.)

Is something the game provides or did you manually make it?

Wish you'd stay, even if you throw NH in the closet for a while. Updates will only make the game better and maybe you change your mind on some things later. And I'll always be here when you come back to help out if you need to get caught up, like people here were for me in NL. :)

Updates will not change the games priorities. The fact it even needs updates rather than being a complete game out of box shows it already has different priorities.
