I like the smoothing filter they added to custom patterns, but I wish it were selectively disableable. Some things should be more pixel perfect.

The drawing on the ground doesn't look like it has the same smoothing filter as all other custom patterns.

Edit- Hmm I can maybe see some of the smoothing on the skin tones? But the outlines all look like fine pixels to me.

Here's my camp on my unique isle. Today I planted at least 50+ flowers, made some tikis, and when the fruit grow again it'll be a vibrant place once the flowers bloom. Also making a bridge to it. It's going to be so cute.

And then, I noticed that I missed the spacing of the hammock on tile extra. It bugged me to look at it so I ate a coconut and then just moved the tree. Simple, but so game changing. In the past do you know all I'd have to do and how long it'd take to do this simple 20 second clip?

Well I got KK and the construction app this morning, but I'm still grumpy about my ramp. 

Using KK to cap off the "story"/tutorial is kind of ingenious though. It always displayed the credits in past AC games but it was always like, an optional thing many players might have even missed. NL added credits for when you sit at your town's big tree, wonder if there's something like that here.

Today I’m just going to relax and work on making my island look nice. Gonna pull some weeds, try to get the place decorated a bit, maybe put up some fencing if I have time.
