Not sure I noticed the campsite having an effect, but it's definitely possible there wasn't anyone in there when my villagers moved in... in fact there hasn't been anyone visiting there in a while...

Been slowing down a bit as well, especially since the hot springs opened last week. Last couple of days I've finished my daily tasks by 11am and then I take a good long break until evening, which I use to prepare for the next day.

I think I got my daily staples set:

- Change my outfit (first thing)
- Hit all rocks
- Talk to all 10 of my villagers
- Bury a new money tree and harvest the mature one
- Dig up all the things and donate fossils*
- Check Nook's
- Check Able's
- Axe my bamboo trees, since young spring bamboo is a seasonal item
- Water my flowers, if I have time

* Today was the first day all four of my fossils got rejected as dupes. Probably going to be the norm from here on out until I finish it now.

Unlike previous fishing tournaments in Animal Crossing, the fishing tourney in New Horizons does not depend on the size or rarity of the fish you catch but on the quantity alone. Each attempt will have players catch as many fish as they can within three minutes. One point is earned for each fish caught. Two additional points are rewarded if you've caught at least three fish. To win the gold fishing trophy, you’ll need a total of 300 points by the end of the tournament.

Yeah. Get a high price, ask for tips, if you do it for long enough you’re gonna get a lot of shit. Some people leave stacks of bells, some stacks of fresh turnips, this I believe is the hustle

Fishing tourney sucks.

Max you can really get each time is 8-10 fish if you have bait and get lucky. Which gives you 10-12 points. So you'd need 25+ attempts. Need 300pts for gold trophy. What a time sink
