My armchair analysis of Opty is that he gravitates really hard towards righteous indignation, and resents the SJW stuff cause those are areas where he doesn't get to be the crusader but rather listen and support (or worse, realize you might have been part of the problem in a small way). Other dudes give me the same impression but they solve the problem by acting more Catholic than the Pope on SJW issues so they can still be the ones yelling.
