I watched most of the San Antonio/San Diego game, it was alright. There's clearly a talent disparity between that game and the average NFL game [obviously], but they partly made up for it by having a really fast tempo. Virtually no commercial breaks [most of the time they split the screen to show a shot of the field on one side and a commercial on the other in between plays], shorter play clock, and a lot less ref reviews. Dunno how much staying power this has [especially with the XFL starting up next year], but I could see myself watching it a bit if I don't have anything else to do.
