Like I honestly feel like I'm going to be sipping on iced coffee (or tea/whatever the kitchen is stocked with that morning) and listening to gaming podcasts or political comedy shows at work 9-5 until I die lol

I do have my own aspirations (gaming journalism and hosting), that I'm currently pursuing part-time, but goddamn this tweet really hit me hard. I'm sure lots of people feel this way too, what about you?

Either he doesn't know what the first word means or the four following it.

Also another suicide thread.  The guy works at a michelin starred restaurant.  He's more successful than me and thinks he's a failure   :fbm
Wait, he calls it a dead end job.  I suppose he's not wrong.   :fbm

This cunt, like most REEESETERANS, is delusional.

Where the fuck is that money for that Universal basic income supposed to come from if everyone is just streaming Vidya to 3 followers instead of actually creating something of value?

https://www.resetera.com/threads/my-experience-being-part-of-the-millennial-workforce.145179/post-25162554

Quote
Now just imagine if we had Universal Basic Income and you didn't have to throw your time on Earth into the dump just to make a buck. You could actually spend your time doing shit you actually want to do.

UBI as a concept has a lot of strengths, and has support from the entire political spectrum, because unlike most other social benefit systems, there is never a disincentive to actually go out and work, because any paid work you do will always mean you end up with more money than not working, and because its universal, everyone benefits from it - its like an 'in advance' tax rebate.

Where Reeeee don't fucking get it, is that they're already living their worst life in their parents basement playing vidya all day, living off handouts and e-begging, and being miserable as fuck, and UBI isn't gonna fix any of that. If anything it'll make their own circumstances worse, because you can't beg for money because you're. so. tired. when the entire fucking country knows full well you have enough money to actually live on, and if you're pissing it away buying $60 videogames day one and living off uber eats deliveries, tough fucking shit.

Yes. Exactly. Because Wildlands is solid.

It's a shame: I really want a Wildlands sequel, but it seems Ubisoft is gonna have to spend another year fixing this before it's even ready to "launch."

Basically.
From the 4-5 hours of beta i played of Breakpoint, it's Wildlands with random loot mechanics tacked on, and a whole lot of jank on top of that.
Even the map looks cobbled together, compared to Wildlands' Bolivia, which was rather gorgeous.

Druckmann is wrong about one thing. This should be the one single Joker movie.
The performance was spot on, the story ended on a high note.

It doesn't need a sequel.

It's not exactly uncommon in that area of Dallas for people to get shot, and I think jumping to the conclusion that the cops murdered him without any evidence whatsoever is a little silly.

Sure, and it'd probably be open and shut if, y'know, there weren't 8 or 9 other gangs/organizations that regularly shot people up in the same area.  It's not a good part of the city and violence is a daily part of life there.

I'm not saying it wasn't.  I'm saying jumping to conclusions before we really know anything is generally not a good idea in any situation.

But why would the PD even have him killed if true? The trial is over and she was found guilty. Its not like his testimony was the deciding factor.
