:drudge :drudge :drudge

Suck my dick from the back, bitch.

I'm seriously so confused why you keep bringing this up...

I'm excited for the MCC Collection too... what in the world do I have to do with this?  lol

"Stupid gamers, hacking together Halo Online/russian program to play Halo on PC. Just buy a console! lol!"
"Yeah, why would they hack together a Russian program to play Halo on their preferred platform? :thinking Maybe because they want MS to port this shit to PC? :thinking "
"Yeah, but MS has every right to protect their IP! Stupid gamers!"
"Yeah, and those gamers have every right to thumb their nose at MS until MS gives them what they want."

Why again does Halo MCC coming out make my comments look stupid?

Because this wouldn't have happened is El Dewrito and MS's legal team getting on that to Streisand effect it didn't happen.

Again: :umad

That's my whole point and why we were arguing: Customers wanted to give MS money for Halo PC. But MS after ten+ years of not doing that wouldn't, a Russian F2P version happened/leaked. People cobble it together to play Halo 3 online because "fuck waiting around forever, MS ain't doing it." They get C&D'd because of it, internet goes "lol MS you aren't giving it to them, why shouldn't they just hack it?" to where MS has to "oh shit!" and release to PC finally.

So the city was going to be sued by a relative of the victim and they tried to throw the girl under the bus as a escape goat (even though she was cleared initially). That is pretty scummy

Someone being killed in a car crash is sad, but the only reason this was made into a thread rather than the other 100,000 that happen in a year is for people like Commedieu to jerk off their aimless racial grievances onto it.

First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white liberal. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner or even the white moderate, but the white liberal, who is more devoted to "self gratification" than to justice; who prefers to peace with them in charge than to be a supporter of the peace if they can't take credit for it; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek; so can you please cut me some slack for my ignorance? After everything I done for you?"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of togetherness and who constantly advises the Negro to teach the ignoramus and then get upset when it's aimed at their ignorance. Shallow understanding and self righteousness from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.

No one is talking about not having principles (thanks for that insult, btw), but what you’re proposing is wanting people to go to war when the front line is openly admitting you’re probably going to get shot. You’re going to find a lot less people are willing to volunteer for that.

I just stop playing it. Why? Because it's not for me but you know what is worst than a video game that you hate? A video game that a developer is forced to make.

If you want to call me a dog-whistle, mealthy-mouthed, weasel, or whatever new label you want to throw at me, we're just going to have to agree to disagree because I'm going to continue supporting the creator of art (books, video games, movies, etc) to have as much freedom as possible to do whatever they want with no pressure. The more art is like that, the better.
Quote
Yes. I even said that if I don't like a video game, I just stop playing it. I don't want to force the developer to do anything. I just ignore them. That's what's beautiful about being an individual. What's not beautiful is forcing artists to lose their individuality because you or even most people disagree with it. It all worked itself out for Rape Day since it was pulled from Steam so I fail to see how that helps your argument that game developers should be forced to alter their story to fit gender percentages or anything similar.

The more representation game developers have, the better off they will always be. Closing down that representation is a horrible idea.

Yes I do. I also respect how society pushed it away. That's how freedom of expression works. And I'm going to stop responding to you if you're going to ignore literally 100% of my posts that you respond too to ask me another question in a lame attempt to bait me.

Freedom of expression is a good thing and always will be.

User Banned (Duration Pending): Dismissing LGBT identity and value concerns in favor of concerns of "creative expression"

The LGBT community has only been getting more and more representation in media for more than a decade now and it's growing fast. And you know how that started? Freedom of expression.

It's a beautiful thing :)

Keep it rolling and I'm happy that your ideal soceity of less freedom of expression will never come true because it's ridiculous.

Peace.

I’m not a very political person, I follow policies but I think the system is more broken than the average person does and really only get involved in local community activities. However I did have to do a paper on news media journalistic integrity for school and well, I just dug into a lot of research on the news outlets. What I found was depressing but not surprising, you can basically pinpoint the viewpoints of certain channels before you even read the article or watch the coverage. It was crazy! But it was an easy term paper because the material was so abundant.

One of the more egregious outlets I have to say is Fox News. Maybe 5-6 years ago, I read someone online state they ‘feel sorry for ppl who watch Fox” and I thought it had to be an exaggeration. Today, I’m not sure if it’s off the mark at all. My Spanish brother in law is increasingly developing habits and thought processes that I can only imagine come from him viewing that channel. He had to be convinced racism still exist today only by listening to recent stories I shared with him involving police and how aggressive they were to me in certain neighborhoods. He supports trump for reasons that go beyond he’s “helping me financially.” Every time he does something stupid or say something stupid he projects that liberal stations only show one side of it. But I’m like “isn’t what he said stupid?” And his replies are outright defensive or dismissive at best. “He’s not a good guy but” is the starting point to many of his silly rants. One day, I was watching a Trevor Noah standup with my wife and him and his wife kept getting offended whenever he would make jokes about American culture. Little stuff like the metric system in the rest of the world versus us using lbs as “pounds” got them annoyed. It wasn’t the first time I’ve noticed the increase in patriotism, but it was really apparent something was off since the jokes were pretty lighthearted in nature.

I’m a minority, my wife is from the Middle East, some of my best friends are from other cultures, I know I’m not against bias but I do try and put an effort to realize everyone’s struggle. And I know enough to know for a fact that the population ain’t on equal footing. So I’m staring to get really really irritated at his viewpoints. I don’t want to hate my family, but damn if I don’t like this guy sometimes. I feel like it’ll blowup one day and maybe we will just stop talking. Maybe that’s what I want. Anyone else deal with something similar?

Pretty much don’t talk to my entire extended family because of this. Had to sit at table for Christmas dinner while my uncle ranted at my wife that “they” have already cured cancer and are withholding the cure because it isn’t profitable. My wife is a cancer research scientist who works 60-70 hrs a week to try to find treatments for cancers. After that I was pretty much done with anyone who ingests conspiracy media (which is what I consider fox)

Its not just fox though. I had to take a break from CNN/MSNBC..etc... My whole youtube feed was politics, it made me anxious, upset. Angry... Stressed as fuck. Its all my interactions were with people. Just.. political anger. Esp watching those pundit debatates. Now I just check the OT... but uh, yeah. You can slide pretty well into that reality where its being fed to you via emotional news. Fox is more direct, but I feel like they sell helplessness, but STAY TUNED! in the same way. Its insane.

Yeah I know a few people like this. They don't get invited to Christmas breakfast anymore and they are pretty salty about it. Oh well.

The movie IS important. I have friends whose lunch have more budget than Tangerine. Big budget movies that acess large scale audiences NEED to have "social justice" (aka basic decency) because they are sending a message. Captain Marvel being the biggest women focused super hero movie EVER is pretty important.

 :doge

How sad do you have to be to put so much self-worth in these decent-to-average popcorn movies. Or think they are perfect as some vehicle for wider social change. Disney execs must be laughing their asses off as they swim in a pool of money for having these unintentional corporate shills go to bat for them so eagerly.
